In a zombie apocalypse, one of your main necessecities is a form of transportation. A car, or truck are both extremely useful while mobilizing supplies, and are extremely helpful in killing zombies by running them over. These traits make them a must-have while in an apocalypse, even after the few drawbacks they impose. These drawbacks include fuel, spare parts and confrontations (due to other survivors wanting to take away the said vehicle.) Between choosing a vehicle, bigger usually does mean better. A motorcycle is clearly not as affective at running zombies over or transporting multiple survivors as much as a a car.
